ALDI SOUTH optimizes parking: Digital solution with PRM's license plate scanner

The parking lot of the food discounter ALDI Süd is very popular. But not only among its own customers. The space was often used as a permanent parking lot even beyond the store's opening hours. A major advantage for ALDI customers is that they do not need to insert a parking disk into their car. If individual vehicles exceed the maximum parking time, this is still detected by the installed technology. The system ensures that penalties are only imposed on those vehicles that exceed the maximum parking time.

The installed system proved to be the ideal solution for ALDI Süd. The installation went quickly and smoothly, and the unwanted long-term parkers have moved to other parking spaces. The discounter's customers now have sufficient parking spaces for their vehicles at all times.
